Beautiful location, cozy space, tons of woods to explore (our dogs loved it), and friendly people. We’ll be back.

A magical place. The Boat House is beautifully situated on the edge of a private lake, with a deck that extends out over the water and a private dock for swimming and canoeing. Cleverly and stylishly renovated with all the amenities, a wonderfully well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of room for a couple. The bed is fantastically comfortable. What a delight to doze off to sound of loons, awake to a sunrise over the glassy water, dive in the water for a swim before coffee. The main lodge is charming, the property traversed by trails, the history of the place is moving: you can almost hear the peals of laughter of campers past. We could have stayed... maybe forever.

We loved this cabin. A beautiful location for winter fun. Snowshoeing and X-country skiing right out of the door. Close to Stowe for activities there. Cabin was warm and very clean - recently renovated. Very very comfortable for those who love winter!

This was actually our second time staying, this time we rented two cabins and came up with friends of ours and our dogs. We LOVE this place, it is truly a hidden gem. We come from the city and it’s a great place to disconnect and truly relax, it’s incredibly peaceful.

We love Wapanacki and the Scout Cabin! It was gorgeous inside and SO clean. The fireplace/furnace kept us cozy at night and we sat outside on the porch during the day to enjoy the fresh VT air. We only stayed for 2 nights but I wish we had stayed for a whole week :)

This place is the best kept secret in The Northeast Kingdom. The Scout Cabin we stayed in was refurbished to perfection. Beautiful woodwork throughout, as well as, ALL the amenities you need for comfort! Camp Wapanacki has a rich history that the owners are preserving which makes it that much more appealing. The 25 acre lake is absolutely perfect for kayaking, canoeing, fishing or just floating on a raft. My wife, Zachariah (our Labrador) & I walked the extensive trails on the 200 acres.

Had a great weekend at Camp Wapanacki. We stayed in Lakeside, which has an amazing view. I could just sit on the deck all day. Our two dogs loved frolicking in the lake. We loved exploring the property, and seeing the awesome transformation from old to new. Cat was great to work with, very accommodating. Definitely looking forward to another stay in the future.

We had such a wonderful weekend staying at the lakeside cabin. We loved the deck outside the cabin and the dock immediately off the deck, where we could jump into the lake. We also loved that there were canoes and kayaks and a stand up paddleboard on the shore for our use. Most importantly, our dog had such an amazing time exploring the grounds and being on the lake. It was a perfect weekend at Wapanacki and we can’t wait to return!

We love the Camp! The Merle cabin has become one of our favorite hideaways, with access to tons of activities onsite and off. Snowshoeing on the trails on the property was great. As was skiing at Smuggs and visiting all our favorite breweries. Cat and Andrew are great hosts. We couldn’t ask for more!

I was going to give a one star review because I’m selfish and I don’t want anyone else to experience just how AMAZING and MAGICAL this camp is. . .we also renamed it “Camp Dexter” because our dog wouldn’t get in the car to leave and wanted to be adopted by the owners. . . but now that I think of I wouldn’t get in the car to leave either and want to be adopted by the owners so that I can live at Camp Wapanacki aka Camp Dexter ;)

I love everything about this place. The people, the property, the history, the amenities, the attention to detail...this place is as peaceful as it is beautiful! We had loons calling to us every morning, humming birds and cranes within 10 yards of our dock. The boat house is in a private (Website hidden by Airbnb) was so peaceful. This place holds a special place in my heart for sure.
